The project consists of about 2,500 sq. ft. of a Mezzanine addition to a doubleheight
dining hall and approximately 500 sq. ft. of a new entrance vestibule with canopy. The addition is framed in
structural steel. Floor construction is composite metal deck with concrete topping. The effect of the addition on existing structures was evaluated and lateral stability for the addition was incorporated into the design.
