This project involves the design and construction administration for a complete renovation and reuse of a historic mill complex. The renovation includes 27,000 sq. ft. of commercial space and about 11,000 sq. ft. of reuse as 11 rental housing units. The existing mill building is a masonry construction with wood floors and roof framing. The buildings are founded on an ordinary shallow foundation and the first floor consists of slab on grade, which is vented and leveled with new concrete topping.
