Charlestown Police Station

New 19,000 square foot, two-story L-shaped structure. The building is framed in structural steel, and lateral stability is achieved by a steel concentric-braced frame as required for essential facilities. The building is founded on caissons. Due to the soil condition, the first floor slab was required to be framed in reinforced concrete slab and supported on grade beams.
